Small particles of black smoke and several other pollutants released by diesel and petrol engines are amongst the most harmful air pollutants released into the environment today.

These particles alone contribute to the deaths of an estimated 10,000 people every single year in the United Kingdom.

Carcinogen 1,3-butadiene is a threat to human life at any measurable dose. Two thirds of 1,3-butadiene comes from petrol driven vehicles, annually that is 69, 000 tonnes.

Much of the emissions from Petrol and Diesel engines also damage the natural environment and buildings.

LPG - making the difference...

With LPG:

• C02 produced in engines - which contributes to global warming and smog- is 80% less with LPG compared to petroleum and 40% less compared with diesel.

• Nitrous oxide emissions are 80% less than petrol and 90% less than diesel.

• PM10s are non existent in LPG.

• Hydrocarbon emissions are around 60% less than petrol and 50% less than diesel.
